3D Design For Teens Via Zoom. Learn to design 3D objects in Tinkercad with Norwalk Public Library. This 3D Design class is scheduled to take place on Thursdays from 5 pm -6 pm. All three vaccine types--J&J, Moderna, and Pfizer--will be offered during the clinics. Pfizer is the only vaccine they are able to administer to children ages 12-17, and there must be parent present to sign the consent form. If there is an emergency situation, the consent can be completed by phone. Griffin is also doing third doses of Pfizer and Moderna to those that are immunocompromised, and booster Pfizer shots to patients who are 6 months past their second dose and who work in an occupation with a high degree of human contact.

Trees provide a wide range of valuable, and sometimes hidden, ecosystem services across urban and suburban landscapes. In particular, they can play a profound role in regulating climate at local to global scales. Dr. Andrew Reinmann from the City University of New York has been studying how urbanization alters rates of tree growth and carbon sequestration and how the trees in our communities influence our local climate. The presentation will highlight finding from this research and share thoughts about utility of tree inventories, tree ordinances, and tree planting programs for boosting canopy cover in our city.
