Study and paint the works of Monet. We label artists either a realist, an abstract artist, a surrealist, or an impressionist. Monet, however, was a lead in the impressionist movement. His work is very easy to recreate because there are no lines drawn in the sand, just color after color to create a suggestive scene. The interesting thing about Claude Monet, besides his name being Oscar-Claude, was that he would paint over paintings he had finished. When not pleased with a finished piece of work, he would then paint a new creation.
