    For Children ages 5 and under to enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills, followed by playtime! The program is open to all children who are able to sit quietly next to their grown up. A caregiver must be present. Limited to the first 24 children who arrive; stop by the Children's Department to pick up your name tag before 9:30 am. For more information please call 203-899-2780 Ext. 15131.

  4. Pre-Twinkle Violin Lessons - For Parent and Pre-Schoolers

    January 28, 2020, 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM @ Children's Activity Room

    Bring your little ones in for an intro to violin with Daniela Gongora, of the Daniela Gongora Music Academy! Classes will meet once a week for 4 weeks providing parents a taste of the Suzuki method with their child. Parent and child will have fun making a box violin, learning the proper way to hold it, and enjoying musical activities based on the Suzuki philosophy. Space is limited so please register quickly.   5. STEMGirl: Cultivating Girls in Stem

    For girls in grades 3-5 interested in science! Learn about science by doing fun experiments such as making ice cream and slime. Materials, plus a snack are provided. Come early because the program is on a first come first serve basis. STEMGirl was created and is run by AITE High School Senior Lindsey Frederic in collaboration with the Norwalk Public Library.
