    For children ages 5 and under to enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills followed by playtime! The program is open to all children who are able to sit quietly next to their grown up. A caregiver must be present.   4. Campfire Read A Thon

    April 17, 2018, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Full Auditorium

    Snuggle up with your family around our indoor campfire and read a few good books during Week of the Young Child. Families with children birth to age 5 can drop in and enjoy freshly made waffles, read books and then share them with other families. While here, be sure to sign up for 1000 Books Before Kindergarten!

  1. Low Impact Aerobics with Linda

    The Norwalk Public Library is pleased to offer a new Low Impact Aerobics class led by instructor Linda Lombardo, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., in the Main Auditorium located at 1 Belden Avenue, Norwalk. The class will not meet during the holidays, but will resume on Tuesday, January 9. Known to local residents for her work as a Silver Sneakers instructor, Linda has been a Business Education teacher with the New Canaan, Norwalk, Fairfield, Greenwich and Stamford Public School Systems for over 20 years. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a health fitness instructor, personal trainer and nutrition counselor. Stop by on Tuesday or Thursday to welcome Linda and try out a new version of Low Impact Aerobics.
