    ZUMBA- Children & Parents Move to the groove to some fun and up beat music in this Zumba class run by Karen for children ages 3-12 and their parents! No registration required but the program is limited to the first 80 people who arrive. Bring some water to stay hydrated.   1. Genealogy: Meet Your Ancestors!

    Genealogy: Meet Your Ancestors! Mondays, February 12, 26 and March 5 at noon in the Main Auditorium. A light lunch will be provided by the Library A three-part series at the Norwalk Public Library, presented by Phebe A.Kirkham and the Norwalk Public Library History Room. First part on genealogy itself, how to search, beginning with your and working backwards, using Ancestry, looking at the types of records, noting other online resources. Begin to use Ancestry! Second par will expand on the previous session, responding to questions. The program will proceed on to organizing your information and the software programs and Family Trees on Ancestry. Newspaper resources will be discussed as well as going on the road, and DNA. Third part with Norwalk Public Library History Room staff featuring local resources.

    The Norwalk Public Library is an official Passport Application Acceptance Facility. U. S. Passport applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. 1St Time Applicants Lost/ Stolen Passports Children's Renewals (Bring a completed DS-11 Passport Application Form) Please bring A recent Passport Photo-2X2 Valid Driver's License, State Identification Card, Employee ID or Military ID Your original Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate (Certificate will be returned to address on your DS-11 application) Passport Fees Check or money order (NO CASH) made out to the U.S. Department of State will be accepted in the amount of $110.00 for adults and $80.00 for children, and a $25.00 fee by check or money order made out to Norwalk Public Library.
