Please join us for a four-part presentation on four women of the Romanov Dynasty. Empress Marie was born Princess Dagmar of Denmark. She was the wife of Alexander III, and the mother of Nicholas II. Queen Olga of Greece, Alexander II, was the wife of King George I of Greece. Marie, Duchess of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, the daughter of Tsar Alexander II, married a son of Queen Victoria and was the mother of Queen Marie of Romania. Marie, Grand Duchess Vladimir was born Duchess Marie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. married Grand Duke Vladimir, the son of Alexander II. All four women lived to witness the Russian Revolution that brought an end to the Romanov Dynasty.
